Tiramisu Cake Recipe/The most desired Italian dessert! (VIDEO)

Tiramisu Cake is probably one of the most ordered cake in any restaurant. it has strong coffee flavor combined with sweet cream made by egg custard, whipped cream and Mascarpone cheese.

Tiramisu recipe:

7 large egg yolks
1½(300g) cups sugar
2 cups(450ML) Heavy whipping cream
16oz(450g) Mascarpone cheese
1 tsp of Vanilla extract or Vanilla paste
½ tsp cream of tartar
16oz(450g) Lady Fingers
2 cups of instant coffee of brewed coffee(cooled)
Optional:3 tbsp of Coffee Liqueur( Kahlua)

Method:

In a medium bowl add 7 egg yolk and place on Bain-Marie (double boiler). Add sugar and slowly cook egg custard until doubles in size, pale yellow in color and thickens.

Transfer egg custard in a large bowl to cool down.
When cooled, add 2 tubs(16oz/450g) of room temperature Mascarpone cheese. Mix until smooth.

In a separate mixing bowl add 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. Add cream of tartar( it will help to stabilize cream) and start whipping on medium speed until sift peaks. Add Vanilla and continue whipping cream until stiff peaks.

Fold in whipped cream into egg yolks/Mascarpone cheese mixture until smooth.

Assembling Tiramisu:

To cold coffee add 3 tbs of Coffee Liqueur.
Dip Lady Fingers cookies and lay them into 13″x 9″ dish.
Spread half of cream and repeat process.
Dust Cake with Cocoa powder and refrigerate.
This cake is better after refrigerated for at least 12 hours.
