Chef John…you are the best
I don't see much difference beetween this recipe and Jim Lahey no-knead bread recipe ????
The only difference between the two is that here, it adds 1/2cup more flour and 1/2 more water
Thanks for the recipe! I shared it with my friends and loved ones, and they love it so much!
You should keep that cold… Your oscillating speech pattern has gone away. Nice keeping your sense of humor though… That Joey Tribbiani impression made me laugh out loud.
Thank you. It was easy and delicious.
Chef John thankyou so much for these videos! We are both able cooks but over the years we have just been eating out and wasting/loosing our skills. You put the spark back into our kitchen! The kids will remember my hubby and I in the kitchen together making magic and coming home to the smell of fresh bread. Thankyou for this gift!!-Plus you are super entertaining:) I have us nurses at work watching these!
I don't have any aluminum foil can I use plastic wrap and a towel?
Hello John,
just wanted to say you can't name this bread ciabatta, it look like ok, but there no ciabatta without oliv oil … ciabatta is an "oliv oiled" bread .
anyway tks for the recipe it's surely a good no knead bread.
You're so funny, Chef! I like how simple this recipe is. I'll try it soon!
The literal instant he cut into that bread, my mouth filled with saliva! XD
Thanks. You're a great presenter. I had time to write down the recipe and everything else I needed wile you were talking. Now I just need to translate my scrawl. And I mean scrawl! :-0
lovely lovely lovely bread & sexy voice THX
Coolie
I just love your videos….I get me a good laugh at the same time I'm baking..lol. You are so funny…
oh ok, you get all the holes…
What you are trying to say through layers of Neapolitan accent mutated by emigration, is a permutation of "CANTUCCIO" a word which means "corner" or "nook" (in Tuscany it also applies to anise crunchy biscotti)
We Italians from NY call the end the Heel or Heal. No clue how itβs spelled. Condotes
The butter on the bread thing is brilliant!
Many Italian loaves have a sprinkling of sesame seeds on top. How do I make this happen?
Dip in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. YUM
