Potato gnocchi is a classic Italian recipe that’s much easier to make than you think. It’s a delicious, nutritious and super versatile vehicle for all sorts of sauces from the classic San Marzano tomato sauce to a piquantly pungent gorgonzola sauce to pesto trapanese, in which almonds and tomatoes steal the show. All three are delicious, but my personal favorite is the gorgonzola–it’s rich and creamy and nutty and so, so tasty. Try them all out and see which one’s your favorite!

Good video but NEVER use oil on your pasta or gnocchi it keeps the sauce from sticking to it. Also, finish the gnocchi in the pans with the sauce. Always. Come on man!

Once in NY's Little Italy I tried one of the BEST dishes that I've tasted in my life (liked it so much that returned the following day to eat it again!), they were Gnocchi in a tomato sauce. Delicious! I am going to give these recipes a try for sure. Hope they taste as good as those ones I tried just a year before the Twin Towers fell. 🙁
