Italian Grandma Makes Chicken Cacciatore (VIDEO)
Chicken Cacciatore:
1 whole Chicken (cutup)
4 cloves Garlic (halved)
2 Onions (sliced)
4-6 Scallions (Green Onions) – bottom portion
1/2 cup Parsley
1/2 cup Basil
2 qts Peeled Plum Tomatoes
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Oregano (approx)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Optional:
1 lb Pasta/Linguine
Grated Pecorino Romano (sprinkle on top)
Watching you is a Joy!
I don't like to cook with a lid because it makes to much water! I do mine on top then put it in oven to finish it
I put peppers and mushrooms in mine
It makes my day when you sing! Such a joy.
