I wish you would learn to pronounce the Italian language properly. Pizza Chiena. It means full. Check the spelling. Thanks.
Right Tom.. you got that Tommy.. you see Tom… We call this an easter calzone
Made it tonight, in July. Does it have to be Easter? lol
Can you use a pie crust or pizza dough if u don’t want to make your own crust and don’t you use provolone and mozzarella cheese or hard boiled eggs?
Rustica !
OMG My mouth is watering!! Looks fantastic and I LOVE Bella, she stole the show!
Like the bike. My 88's the same color. Crimson and candy brandy wine
Thank you so much for posting this. My memories of this are bittersweet. Some of my happiest memories are of my mother and grandmother making all the various Easter pies especially this one. Your recipe look great. My uncles, who never set foot in the kitchen all year would make the most delicious Pizzagaina at Easter time. Very happy days then and now. Thanks again.
you forgot the hard boiled eggs!!!
I love this stuff. Viewing the video in November and wondering whether I can wait until Easter to have it again.
You mixed two italian pie: Casatiello and Pastiera, but they are two different pie!
My first time making, I wanted to ask you how much prosciutto do you add? If I add about a pound of prosciutto would that be too much? (We love prosciutto)
I can't wait to make it. My Nonna always made it and I don't have any of her recipes. Thank you for this
That's a beautiful pie. Happy Easter 2017 xoxo
3:00 That's not a knife, THIS is a knife. ..okay, carry on. xo
we have been using your recipe for the past 4 years. thanks for sharing it
Looks delicious – ya see that Tom, Yep, LOL
Our family made a meatless version of this with 18 eggs, grated cheese, and around a pound of cooked ziti in it. Can't remember what we called it but we had it every Easter.
Yes, excellent job! I wish I had a slice right now!
