Have you ever made Pasta Al Limone ?
Can't you make this with diced can tomato, add a fresh one if you want? seems all fresh won't have the flavor of flash cooked canned with oregano, garlic etc. That's how I make mine. It always impresses. I'm afraid fresh won't be as good. What do you think?
You are sooo funny 😆
Very cute too!! Love ya bunches!!!
Joe, take your poor little basil plant outside. I use a large terra cotta planter, and plant a variety of herbs (Italian parsley, basil, oregano, etc.) in the sunniest spot in the garden, and just give it water. Rosemary and mint get their own planters, 'cause they're so wild and unruly. Of course, I live in (almost always) sunny California, so it's easier to grow some absolutely beautiful herbs almost effortlessly. Love your Spaghetti alla Checca recipe. My parents were born in Bari, so watching you cook brings back happy memories.
Did he say something about adding flour and salt while he's boiling the pasta? I lost him when he said it.
Had a yucky day, so had to get my Joe recipe in to improve the dern day. It did! thanks Joe!
I love this Pasta dish…its simple and it's just what I've been looking for…Howa doing?🍹 Cheers to you, Joe

dear joe it's not aldonte its aldente which as you know to the tooth , the bite .. aldonte means soft mush .. aldente means firm to the tooth..
I made this tonight. Delicious. All the ingredients come through perfectly. Thanks Joe.
Why did you call Basil an “erb” instead of “Herb”?
Will you cook campelini Pomodoro on your channel. It is similar to this dish but also easy but oh so delicious. Love your video's. Thanks
Will Basilive inside house on counter? Or should I plant outside in ground? Or both. Maybe grown basio in house for winter. I have organic Garden.
Oh my goodness! This looks absolutely delicious! I am definitely making it tonight!!!!!! Amazing video, Joe! I love hos passionate you are! ♡
good stuff, I'm gonna saute some onion with the toms, then add basil right before pasta. Just near the top of basil, just a 2-3 inch stem, put the stem in water for a week in the sun if you have near inside window. roots will develop in a week or so, depending on how much sun.
I did something like this a few days ago when I needed an easy summer main dish. I started with the flavors of a Capresse salad, Roma tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, and a liberal splash of balsamic vinegar. I added elbow macaroni that I rinsed in cold water after cooking, plus a bit of a good bottled Italian dressing. Macaroni alla Capresse turned out so good that the wife is begging me to fix it again.
I just made this because of you and it was one of the best spaghetti I've ever tasted! Made it twice now and will keep making them. Thank you so much! I love your videos! Your different and much better than other cooking videos. Keep up the great work!
I make something very similar all the time, I LOVE it!!
