just found your channel and i just want to say, you made my day a whole lot better!
My mother was European with a very heavy accent, and English was quite difficult for her, She was far from Italian, but when I watch Gina, she reminds me of my mother. I see my mother’s hands, and the way she cleans when she cooks, and how she dusts her hands free from flour. Sadly, I didn’t keep many of my mother’s recipes, but watching Gina brings me back home. Love her! Don’t change a thing! Kudos to the family for these videos and the legacy your family will have.
I love u Nona! You remind me so very much of my Italian mother in law who passed away in 2013. Miss her so much as she taught me how to cook a few Italian meals. When i watch u i feel like shes with me teaching me again! I love your Italian accent! You learned English so fast! Your children and grand kids are so very blessed!,,
I love you ,nonna Gina,😘

Grazie Donna Petitti, watching your videos is like a mini vacation to Italy. May Joseph and Mary keep you vital and strong for a long time so you can teach us the kitchen secrets only the experienced ladies know. Could you teach us your version of Spagghetti Marinara? Grazie mille por tutti, Ciao bella, love from Hollanda.
Does anyone know of the Italian cookie called Pastura ? Nuts, chocolate, and brandy are in the middle and it looks like a loaf of bread. Baked and then sliced like biscottis.
