Oh no! You don't pan fry expensive steaks!! On the grill for just a few minutes on each side!! And what was that syrup crap, with goat cheese?! What a way to ruin an expensive cut of meat!😞

Why not start the syrup first? Doesnt make since if the syrup takes 18 minutes to make. Also, this recipe is nasty.

Filet mignon I usually season a little bit more than a ribeye or strip, but still just salt & pepper then topped with a thyme, & roasted garlic compound butter. A good steak needs nothing more maybe a mushroom & red wine reduction sauce instead of Tue butter or both, yum! Hell no on the sweet balsamic & goat cheese.
