Best Italian Meringue Buttercream | best buttercream recipe | Food with Chetna (VIDEO)
This is my favourite buttercream to use for layering and covering the cakes. Straight forward to make, this can be made a couple of days beforehand. You can also add all sorts of flavours, colours and textures to this buttercream.
Light, fluffy and smooth, great way to cover the cakes and also great for cupcakes.
I just made it today and came out really well. Can't stop eating it as its so yummy. Thanks Chetna, can I freeze it as I am not making a cake today. I had some left over egg whites and made this. 👍😊❤️
When do you usually add flavorings i.e. vanilla? At the very end with the whisk still in? Absolutely love you and your videos
