Italian Gravy (VIDEO)

3Tbs oil
2 medium onions chopped
2 boneless pork chops
1 can (24-32oz) diced tomatos
3 cans (24-32oz) crushed tomatos
4-8 cloves of garlic minced
1 cup water
3-4 small cans of tomato paste
1/4 C sugar or add more as needed
1 package of Italian sausage

Meatballs

1lb hamburger
egg
dried parsley or fresh
salt pepper
garlic powder
1 cup bread crumbs or less depending on your beef
Parmesan and ramano cheese


In a big stock pot on low heat oil, add onions and pork chops. Brown up for 1 hour. You want to caramelize the onions. stir often.
After the hour add the cans of tomatos. Take each tomato can add water to rince the side of the cans and add that to the pot. Stir and cook on simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.
Add tomato paste, basil, parsley, oregano, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper.
Add some sugar to cut the acidity. This you have to gage by taste.
Add Sausage. and cook with gravy for 30 minutes. Then add the meatballs. Simmer for another hour and a half. Stir often.
