Creamy Garlic Mushroom Chicken Recipe | One Pan Chicken Recipe | Garlic Herb Mushroom Cream Sauce (VIDEO)
INGREDIENTS
1.5 to 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast (season to taste)
8 oz baby bella mushrooms
4 tbsp unsalted butter
half of small onion (1.5 oz to 2 oz )
3 cloves garlic minced
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp fresh thyme
1 tbsp fresh parsley
1 tbsp fresh chives
3 cups (24 oz) heavy cream (or half and half)
2 to 3 oz grated parmesan cheese
CHICKEN SEASONING
1 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
VINAIGRETTE
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Chicken Breasts with a Delicious Cream Sauce
If you’re looking for a flavorful and easy to make dinner recipe, then look no further. Today we’ll be making a delicious dish using chicken breasts with a creamy sauce that everyone in your family is sure to love. The main ingredients for this recipe are a pound and a half to two pounds of chicken breast, lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oil, butter, mushrooms, onion, garlic, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and chives.
To begin, start by cutting the chicken breast into four pieces. Then season the chicken with a rub that consists of lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Next, heat up a cast-iron skillet with a couple of tablespoons of oil and two tablespoons of unsalted butter. Sear the chicken breasts on medium-high to high heat for around three to three-and-a-half minutes on each side. Keep in mind that the cook time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken.
While the chicken is cooking, you can start sauteing the mushrooms. In this recipe, we’re using baby bella mushrooms, but you can use any type of mushrooms you prefer. A tip for sauteing mushrooms is to not add salt to the pan because it will release the water from the mushrooms and prevent them from browning. Instead, add a little more butter to the pan and saute the mushrooms on medium-high to high heat.
Once the mushrooms are nicely browned, you can add diced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste. Finally, add fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley, and chives to the pan and continue sauteing and mixing everything together. For those that don’t like onions, adding them is optional, but a sauteed browned onion really adds to the flavor of this cream sauce.
When the chicken is done cooking, remove it from the pan and let it rest. Then add more butter to the pan and use it to scrape up the delicious fond from the chicken. Once everything is sauteed and browned to your liking, you’ll have a delicious chicken breast dish with a creamy sauce that everyone is sure to enjoy.

That looks delicious!! So a couple of questions please:
1) We don't get full cream where I live so can I use a combo of milk and chicken stock for my cream sauce base?
2) Instead of parmesan if I use mozzarella is that ok or will it spoil the recipe?

How can anyone not like onion. Smell good while cooking and add a lot of flavor to the food. This look really good, I have to try to make it. So it works with 1/2 and 1/2, don't have to use heavy cream. Great
