it sure is – thats why i only make it once in awhile (this was the second time in 10 years – last time was for a huge party)
ideally, you should let the pasta cool to lukewarm (dressed with some sauce so it doesn't stick) but I had no time – needed to get the dish assembled before my guests arrived and messed up the video – so i worked really fast- the chilled dough held up beautifully, if you don't chill it it gets too soft because of the high butter content
Looks interesting…Confused tho – .why chill the dough if you are adding steaming hot pasta to it? Not a fan of Italian Sausage – any suggestions for a substitution for them? Looks like a great party dish. Thanks for sharing it. Happy Holidays
