Italian Herbs & Cheese Bread – Part 2 (VIDEO)

Ingredients:
2 envelopes or 4 tsp rapid rise yeast
1 TB sugar
2 cups warm water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 TB olive oil
5 cups flour (all purpose or bread flour)
Directions:
In mixing bowl add water, sugar and yeast. Stir to dissolve yeast.
Add olive oil.
Add flour and salt.
Knead in stand mixer on speed 2 for 8 – 10 minutes.
Equally half dough into two sections.
Place in oiled bow, oil the top of dough, and cover.
Place in warm place and allow to rise and double in size.
Punch down dough and pour out onto greased surface.
Pat out into rectangle shape and starting with wide edge start folding dough over and pressing out excess air.
Tuck in ends of dough and place of baking sheet or loaf bread mold.
Score a thin line down the center of each dough.
Cover in saran wrap loosely and allow second rise.
Lightly spray or brush each loaf with water and add seasoning mix to coat the top.
Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Place in preheated 375* oven and bake 35-40 minutes or until a nice golden brown. (bread should sound hollow when you tap on it)
Remove from oven and place on wire rack and allow to cool.
Serve

Those leaves are gorgeous! I bet your house smelled heavenly. I've always been a little scared of bread making but you make it look easy. If I ever get the nerve to try it, this will be the one I make. Thank you once again Sandra for an educational and entertaining video! I just love your videos!

I just made this today y it turn out amazing, so good thank you for the recipe . I made mine with integral flour cuz i bought the wrong one, but still it was so good.
I am going to make this soon, great job on your video's I recently bought me a stand mixer and I made a from scratch cake, peanut butter cookies and homemade frosting… I am currently watching recipes to make with my new stand mixer, this will be a good one for me…love your video's…

I love the look of this bread…have you tried adding any of the mixture not salty to the unprocessed dough and then again on top with the cheese and any that was salty? Just curious how it would taste and turn out. Thanks Sandra!!
