Ok, I mixed the wet ingredients with the paddle attachment, is this ok? I watched your video 100 times and forgot to whisk instead?

Hello, can you make this bread into a braided long loaf vs. In a circle? And would it still be braided with two pieces of dough per loaf?

Laura, can you use lemon extract in place of anise? Also, do you recommend lemon zest in the cookie and frosting?

I made this tonight, so this makes the third recipe of Laura's that I've tried. And another outstanding success! I actually forgot to add the vanilla extract (sinful, I know), and it still came out beautifully. The orange flavor is subtle and wonderful, the bread is just sweet enough, and the texture is fluffy and slightly squidgy… Perfect! I'm bringing the second loaf into work tomorrow, hopefully they enjoy it as much as my family and I did.

Another great Easter video, Laura π My family always use three eggs in the bread too because it represents the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Also the bread is blessed before we eat it on Easter morning. The orange really is so important in this recipe as it gives the most delicious flavour. I'm loving your Easter recipes at the moment because I'm flying home to Rome tomorrow to visit my family and I can't wait to have a traditional Italian Easter <3

Great video as always, Laura. π Last years, I made a short video about different types of Easter bread, feel free to learn more about how to celebrate Easter all over the world here – https://youtu.be/yc7_PLxoXVA π
