This is one of those vegetables that you might fall in love with. Done correctly, it has everything to offer. Beautiful color, wonderful deep green, complex flavors, sweetness with some spice and bitterness. In the same family as cabbage and kale, it’s very healthy and it’s wonderful on its own or accompanying other dishes as a side or as ingredient.

For that same amount of Rapini, I cook it in a pot instead of a pan – it's easier & faster to turn it and it cooks faster since you can fully close the lid to keep the heat & steam in.

Here in Florida the BEST Broccoli Rabe is 'Andy Boy', nice and bitter !. IMHO the bitter-r the better, YUMMY !
