I cant help noticing your kitchen aid mixer behind you, Why haven't you used it to make this dough??
thank you
It's great that you're experimenting with yeasted dough. Soon you'll be feeding sourdough cultures, no doubt!
One thing I noticed was your comment that you add spices because the dough is bland. Truly great bread flavor comes from long, slow, cold yeast fermentation which contributes that delicious trademark bread flavor, but this takes one to three days in the fridge to develop. There's no way to rush it, but there are ways to cheat it. American style lager (like Budweiser) is fermented with a yeast very similar to bread yeast. If you swap out some of the water by weight, you may be surprised with the results. You may want to check out Cooks Illustrated's excellent One Hour Pizza recipe which uses this technique. I made it the other day and this is how it turned out: https://photos.app.goo.gl/S1Pj5RCBVzj78tpv7
Note that this recipe requires a pizza stone to get the appropriate browning, as well as a food processor, King Arthur bread flour, and semolina flour but the results are really worth the extra effort.
That didnt sound easy at all lol you have go add yeast to perfectly temperatured water and I dont have a thermometer
I went to a pizza-making class (taught by Italians! LOL) a couple weeks ago and we basically did the same ingredients and technique, except they had us dissolve the yeast in the warm water first and if it formed bubbles at the top, we knew the yeast was active. Apparently sometimes you get a bad batch or you make the water too hot and this way you can check ahead of time to make sure you're not going to waste a bunch of ingredients.
Thanks so much for this video! We got written instructions from the teacher, but it's so much easier to see the whole process in action. (Gonna try those garlic knots next! Yum!)
My dough is rising right now, but your dough looks way more sticky and airy than mine… Mine looks more thick and dense… I guess comparable to play doh LOOKING, but with the shine of the olive oil… Will it still come out OK?
I usually use my hands, but adding flour step by step seems like a great idea. Thanks! Your instructions are so simple. Keep up the good work!
Damn-it I am under sooooo much pressure to produce the correct dough you haven't a clue!
I could make a diamond if you put a lump of coal in my crack, I'm not trying to be funny, picture me with a handgun pointed at my head with only one chance to get this right. I HAVE NO DO OVERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Haven't learned much but I know the order in which you mix things is vitally important.
Your willy-nilly mixing is going to ___________________________ !!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched a video of Ramsey and making sure your yeast is nice and healthy and working is CRITICAL!

His come after 30 min my dough didn’t really rise ?
Why sugar?
First time making pizza dough and newbie to yeast…I was amazed at how easy it was, from mixing to shaping. My husband came home from work when this was in the oven and kept saying how proud of me he was to pull off pizza from scratch, even though I kept saying it was easy with this recipe. Thanks for allowing me to impress my hubby.
I followed the recipe exactly, but hers was way more moist with all the flour and stirable than mine with 1/2 the flour. It was very hard and impossible to mix. What did i do wrong to cause this??
It seemed so much easier in Runescape
How could any one ever give any of her videos a thumbs down. Not a serious review. Perfect instruction and great recipes. I haven't made this yet but I will. Her biscuits and banana muffins are the BEST.
